How Soft is Software? - Real Time Insight

I see a number of software stocks selling off today.  The least of which is VMware (VMW) which is down 20% on weak guidance for 2013.  I think there could even be some broader implications to the VMW report for an LBO of Dell, but more about that later in the comments.

Citrix Systems (CTXS) is down almost 4%, EMC (EMC) is down a little more than 4% while BMC Software (BMC) is down 7.5%

The question becomes if businesses are telling software companies that things are not going to be as good as expected, where is the next pocket of weakness and do you even want to be around for when it is identified.

Are you worried by the soft numbers from software?
