Actor Jon Voight has been making the rounds of the Republican National Convention, acting as a worthy pitbull snarling at the Obama administration.

On Tuesday, he took a page from the infamous "it's the economy, stupid" philosophy of campaigning. As he slowly made his way through the main press center, surrounded by a gaggle of journalists peppering him with questions and snapping pictures, the father of Angelina Jolie said the economy doesn't hurt a Hollywood star like him.

But for someone with five kids to lose their job? "It's a big deal."
