WARSAW, Poland (AP) — England beat Ukraine 1-0 on Tuesday, while Sweden — already eliminated — beat France 2-0. Co-host Ukraine is now out of the tournament. France finishes in second place following a 2-0 defeat by Sweden, where one of the goals of the tournament was scored by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Marko Devic breaks into the penalty area, sidesteps Terry and shoots. It hits Joe Hart and loops up in the air and John Terry gets a foot to it to clear on the goal-line and the referee waves play on. Replays show the ball had just crossed the line. Gerrard curls the ball into the penalty area but it takes a deflection and looks too close to goalkeeper Pyatov to cause any problems. But, inexplicably, the ball bounces through his hands as he crouches to collect and Rooney is on hand to head in from less than a yard out.
