ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities say at least 12 students and five adults have been taken to hospitals after an Atlanta elementary school was evacuated amid concerns about carbon monoxide in the building.

Officials say the scare began around 8:30 a.m. Monday at Finch Elementary School on the city's southwest side.

Atlanta fire Capt. Marian McDaniel tells WSB-TV that all patients are in mild to moderate condition.
