There is an interesting dynamic happening here. On the one leg, Matthews is generating a thrill that is about to go off the Richter scale; on the other leg Matthews has enough political savvy to recognize that Obama will pay for this stance on election day this November; hence, his call to GOP homosexuals to "neutralize" this issue within the Republican establishment.
