President Obama announced Vice President Joe Biden will be keeping Congress in check on earmarks and wasteful spending.

I argued throughout the campaign and even in an Townhall cover story that would be Sara Palin's role as vice president if McCain won the election. She even said something to that effect and was smeared by liberals for allegedly overstepping her role.

Funny how things work out.

Funny thats a descriptive word
I think it's funny how much of a non issue Joe Biden is to...well...everybody, and how Sarah Palin scares living daylights out of liberals. Ghosts of Reagan in their heads. She's the daughter we all wish Reagan had.

"Sarah Palin scares living daylights out of liberals."

I hope you realize that it's not her personally that scares us. It's the idea that someone like her could somehow attain a position of authority over anything other than a petroleum-welfare state like Alaska. Our reaction would have been pretty much the same if the republicans had nominated a poodle or a potted plant for vice president.

"nominated a poodle or a potted plant for vice president"........

"Smeared by liberals..."
Who dared to remind Caribou Barbie that the Constitution spells out the VP's job duties very clearly.

Please permit me to make a couple of minor revisions Mr Munck.

I hope you realize that it's not him personally that scares us. It's the idea that someone like him could somehow attain a position of authority over anything other than a community organizer from a corrupted Chicago political system. Our reaction have been pretty much validated now that he has nominated the vice president, who happens to spell the word " jobs " with 3 letters, the responsibility to " lead a tough, unprecedented oversight effort " and " ferret out any and all cases of waste and fraud " during the expenditure of the $787 billion spending package.

No, I think that it is Obama himself that scares you. He's going to smash the Republican party into a million little pieces.

If you're unable to write coherent prose, you shouldn't attempt literary acrobatics.

john - and I would add
1. He has hired 6 tax cheats.

2. His economic policies have crashed the market to as low as it was after 9/11. can you say no confidence?

3. He has apologized for americans to the muslim nations one week after inauguration.

4. He is about to sign the 'hate speech' law that says we can get persecuted for citing the bible when discussing homosexuality.

5. He has expanded abortion and exported killing featuses via the UN family planning programs. Apparently, third trimester "partial birth' abortion was too good to keep to ourselves.

6. He has increased spending by 1.2 trillion in just 30 days of taking office. While arguing that pouring money into the existing failing educational institutions is 'hope' we can believe in. YIKES! Who knew? I suppose kids who can't learn using a chalk and black board can now understand fractions because they have a computer? huh?

There must be an office called 'stupid' in this administration because nobody could do this many stupid things in 30 days without a coordinated effort of ivy league graduates supporting him.

SERIOUSLY!

Bob Munck - are you special?
Who is losing jobs? republicans or democrats? Maybe this will give you a clue, the single digit obamaciders (yourself included) will soon experience what CA is experiencing because pelosi has movedon.org to destroying america at a national level. Please give credit where it belongs. Obama reads speeches, Pelosi develops bills that Obama her house Ni$$$$$$ signs into law.

CA is where this country is headed and democrats will lose their jobs first then their dignity while Pelosi and Obama tells them Bush made us do it.

Are you special?

Mr Obama scares all of us Mr Munck
If his economic policies are sound and leads the country out of this recession and into prosperity then yes, your prediction could become reality.

" He's going to smash the Republican party into a million little pieces. "

But if his economic agenda fail miserably and drowns the nation in a deep depression then the opposite of your prediction could become reality.

He's going to smash the Democratic party into 787 billion little pieces.

I seen on TV this morning
that the next spending bill coming out of congress has 8,5XX earmarks in it! So much for cutting them. The only good thing is that these earmarks supposedly have the lawmaker's name attached to the earmark. It was said that the bill contained both democrat and republican earmarks, but the democrats had far more earmarks.

Ole Joe has his work cut out!

Stimulas Czar???
I thought Monica Lewinsky was a shoo-in for that job.

The only thing Biden stimulates is uproarious laughter.
