"I've never met Pelosi's husband but I want to give the guy a medal." - Roger Hedgecock at CPAC while talking about why the Fairness Doctrine is bad.

I'm guessing it's this kind of talk that makes liberals so rabid about shutting down conservative radio. Hedgecock is free to say it of course, but I don't think that's exactly helping the cause.

Hedgecock also stole the basic idea of the American Issues Project latest ad about how to conceptualize $1 trillion in his speech. He said he had thought about it and figured a good way to visualize it is by thinking how far back Jesus existed.

Anyone who saw AIP's latest ad, or heard Minority Leader Mitch McConnell say this on the Senate floor knows Hedgecock didn't come up with this himself.

Moving on..

Hedgecock is just typical
Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity - they all say whatever they want, lie about whatever they want and denigrate whatever and whomever they want. It's their schtick. The sad part is that there is a significant bloc of listeners who actually believe what they say without even a remote sense of credulity. Research Limbaugh's provocative claims? Why, that would require thinking for oneself, and that isn't going to happen in dittohead world.

Embrace Hedgecock, Republicans - he IS you.

If it wasn't so typical of liberals to label and stereotype, it would be funny.

Here we have a conservative criticizing a conservative commentator.

When have you ever heard a liberal criticizing a liberal commentator?

Uh, never.

At least we police our own ranks.

BTW, I do research the claims made by Limbaugh and Hannity. Obviously, you don't because they conflict with your world view.

Blind obedience is for slaves and trolls. And that appears to be what Obama wants.

Okay
"Here we have a conservative criticizing a conservative commentator."

I see how it works. This is why Jindal can be called 'cheesy' but any slight re: Pelosi is verboten.

As long as a 'conservative' criticizes a conservative, it's good. But a conservative criticizing a liberal is a 'cheap shot'.

Makes sense. It's good to play nice.

And
Wasn't the 'cheap shot' at Pelosi? Her hubby was lauded as brave/courageous by Hedgecock.

He'd
have to be brave and courageous to be married to that nincompoop.
Seadog writes: Thursday, February, 26, 2009 5:35 PM
He shouldn't have said that in
front of God and everybody -- jus' ain't gentlemanly. Still, if the woman gets more facelifts and Botox treatments, her ear holes will hold her eyeballs!

Damn, I wish I had some Botox stock!

look for more red meat
like this as the weekend goes on. I assure you that somebody is going to get a bit too comforatble with the audience and say something truly reprehensible that will be a soundbyte played over and over again.

hard thought-uhhhh
"When have you ever heard a liberal criticizing a liberal commentator?"

All the time-of course since you have been brainwashed you think media matters only hits conservatives. Perhaps yu should go to the site and search any number of liberal names and see what you come up with before you start embarrassing yourself.

its clear you get your news from Fox and other conservative approved places-which makes you easily led and defeated.

Stolen Idea?
Amanda, explaining numbers in terms of how long ago Jesus was here has been done for as long as I can remember. Hedgecock did not "steal" that idea. I've wondered why he hasn't filled in for Rush lately, though.

Mr. Pelosi - God has a sense of humor
Mrs. Pelosi married a very wealthy man. obviously his wealth has helped her be a mother of 5 and 'leader' of congress while keeping the poor in check via increasing welfare for them.

Marie Antoinette with botox and a whole lot of annoying habits. She should also be pinned down to her sit during the next presidential theatre (it hardly can be described as an address considering the 'effects' to drive home the 'lies' being peddled as 'tax cuts'.). But I digress.

Mr. Pelosi must wonder how much money nancy spends on her botox and thanks god for his wealth. At least he can pretend his wife has 'change he can believe in'. She hardly looks 25 - LOL!

Jon Stewart wondered how Obama restrained himself from turning around and playing Whack-a-Mole.

roger that... Mr Hedgecock..

Big deal.. and I share Roger's sentiment that Mr Pelosi deserves a medal for putting up with.. Practically speaking, I assume it works for them because nancy does her thing on the East Coast, while Mr Pelosi takes care of business on the opposite Coast.
As I've heard the same visual description of what a Trillion dollars actually looks like, plus a few others from various sources.. I seriously doubt that Roger "stole" any of them, darlin.

An Ideally Suited Couple !!!
She's not the girl he married, that's for sure.
She's like potato- head, play around with parts until you get the right look !
She goes home on week-ends, he choses her clothes , buys her spackle plenty, manages the mansions, lends an arm for her functions.. Perfect marriage !!
So when she's all prancy- dancey , blinking like a sleepy owl( whooo whooo woke me up ?? )behind B.O. plenty, he may think it's a small price for a week of peace ??
Correction.. family homes, not mansions !!
