The U.S. government may have been taping Guantanamo detainees as they were being interviewed by representatives of their governments. The Washington Post reports the State Department told foreign governments that their interviews with citizens from their countries held at Guantanamo would be recorded. Now, lawyers representing those detainees want to have a look at those tapes. The only problem is: The administration has not acknowledged that the tapes exist.
